Guidelines:

• We encourage a broad variety of subject matter and look for creative voices to reflect the diverse population of Norman High School.

• We accept submissions from NHS:

• Students

• Alumni

• Faculty

• We encourage submissions of no more than:

• 3,500 words

• 10 pages in length

• Limit the number of submissions to within:

• 7 poems or art pieces

• 3 pieces of fiction, nonfiction, or drama

• Submissions MUST:

• Be 12pt Times New Roman font

• Be double spaced

• Have page numbers in upper right corner

• Be final drafts

• Not have your name on them

Submission Genres:

• Fiction (flash-fiction, graphic storytelling, short story)

• Creative Nonfiction (descriptive essay, memoir, personal narrative)

• Poetry

• Dramatic Writing (one act play, screenplay)

• Visual Art (design, drawing, painting, photography)

• Music (mp3 file)
